Return Policy

  1. We gladly accept (for exchange or refund) merchandise that is new, unworn, with tags attached, and purchased within the previous 30 days. Exceptions include merchandise marked FINAL SALE or CLEARANCE or HOLIDAY.

  2. Send us an email at info@skipsandstones.com to initiate the return process. We’ll issue you a Return Authorization code that will be necessary for your return to be processed. 

  3. Returns that have not been Authorized in advance will not be accepted. Merchandise must be shipped within seven (7) days of the Return Authorization’s issuance. 

  4. Refunds for items returned within the above time frame and procedures will be credited in the same form as the original payment. If you prefer an exchange, we’ll send the new item to you at no cost.

  5. We do not reimburse for return shipping, but we do offer a store credit in an amount determined by us to be fair to offset the cost of return shipping. The original shipping and handling charges are not refundable.

  6. Store credit is not refundable in cash and can be applied only to the purchase price of new merchandise. It cannot be used to cover shipping and handling fees, sales tax, or other charges associated with your transaction. Store credit expires twelve (12) months from date of issue.

  7. Returns should be sent to Skips & Stones, PO Box 808, Sandwich, MA 02563, ATT: Returns. Please allow up to seven (7) business days for returns to be processed.

Shipping Policy

  1.  Unless noted otherwise, we ship directly from the inventory on our premises within three (3) business days via USPS.  Typical delivery time for packages within the continental US is 3 – 10 business days.

  2. We normally do not offer free shipping but we may on occasion offer a promotion that features free shipping. In these circumstances, the free shipping is only valid for the continental United States. Sorry, Canada.

  3. Domestic Shipping. We primarily ship through the United States Postal Service. Please contact us if you need a product by a certain date and we will do our best to arrange for the fastest shipping you’re willing to pay for.  Certain orders will require shipping to a physical address, not a PO Box.

  4. Shipping to Canada. We can ship via UPS Standard or using United States Priority Mail (your choice). We will use the best, most efficient possible means to ship your order. 

  5. Shipping and Handling Charges. Shipping and handling charges will be applied to all orders placed with us. We’re thrifty with our own money and with yours, so whenever possible, we will batch items to minimize shipping charges. Items identified as “on demand,” are custom produced off site. If you order them along with our regular inventoried items, they will be sent in separate packages and at different times. This won’t result in additional shipping and handling charges. We charge only ONCE for shipping for the entire order, which is when your first item ships. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding these charges, feel free to email us.
